The red carpet is out for the EDUcatering Excellence Awards!

The red carpet is being laid out and the silver is being polished, ready for tonight’s EDUcatering Excellence Awards.

School caterers and suppliers to the sector have been nominated across 12 categories, including Contract Caterer of the Year and Local Authority Caterer of the Year and the winners will be revealed on 10th October at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.

For the first time, there will be two awards chosen on the night by the audience. The first is the Innovation Award, a popular category whereby guests vote for their favourite of three finalists. New for 2017 is another popular vote category, the Supplier Innovation Award, where suppliers to the sector will broadcast a short video entry from which guests judge their favourite.

The evening will also see presentations to the Lifetime Achievement Award winner and the Special Award.
