Viva Weekly Win returns for new term

Lakeland Dairies is running its Viva Weekly Win competition again for the new academic year, giving pupils the chance to win a Fitbit Charge 2, worth £100.

From 4th September until 14th December, pupils can win the top prize every school week by entering their Viva carton codes at www.vivamilk.co.uk. Schools can promote the competition by requesting a POS kit containing A2 posters and wobblers from the website.

“At Lakeland Dairies, we are committed to promoting healthy eating and drinking amongst the UK’s school children. Milk is an excellent source of protein and calcium, offering more nutrients than other soft drinks,” said Paul Chmielewski, head of marketing and international at Lakeland Dairies.

“We are aware that it’s not just food and drink which contributes to a healthy lifestyle though. Recent research has revealed that 79% of pupils are failing to meet the recommended fitness levels for their age. Through Viva Weekly Win we hope to see an increase in healthy milk options consumed during school times, as well as an increase in physical activity undertaken by the winners with their shiny new Fitbit Charge 2.”

The competition first launched in 2010 to encourage schoolchildren to drink more milk and the campaign is still proving popular with pupils, who can enter as many times as they like.
