There is still time to enter the APPG Excellence in School Food Award, which recognises excellence in innovation, individual commitment and provides an opportunity for those working within school food a chance to step forward and shine.
Launched by the All Party Parliamentary Group on School Food, the award is for a single winner who has stood out and achieved success in the past 12 months. Importantly, the nomination must be endorsed by an MP and include a letter from them supporting the entry. The judging panel will include MPs working for the school food industry, including Sharon Hodgson MP and Roberta Blackman-Woods MP. Hodgson will present the award at the EDUcatering Excellence Awards on Tuesday 9th October.
Submissions close at 3pm on Friday 7th September 2018 and must follow the submission template and be accompanied by a letter from an MP. When complete (within the 500 word limit) all forms must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. For guidance on how to enter and for more information, visit the APSE website.
