Tugo Food Solutions, a provider of new food ideas for catering operators, has been accredited by the Investors in People Standard.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management and is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to help companies improve the workplace environment. The recent accreditation highlights Tugo’s commitment to its staff and their potential.
The Standard is supported by the Investors in People framework, which reflects on the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. The accreditation process can be achieved in two forms – one lasting three years, the other lasting one year. The process involves staff surveys, one-to-one interviews, recommendations and progress plans.
“We’d like to congratulate Tugo,” says Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People. “Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, and an organisation committed to achieving success by realising the potential of their people. Tugo should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
“We have a commitment to help our foodservice clients grow by offering them the best value, quality and taste in the industry,” says Lee Personius, managing director at Tugo. “This journey has led us on an Investor in People adventure and we’re setting our sights high, we want to be world class, so we’ve created a five-year plan that kicked off with the celebration of our Investor in People Award and we’ve now started the planning process to create our ‘Tugo Academy’, a concept that will focus on agility, teamwork, collaboration, performance, innovation and trust among our amazing team.”
