Thirty-four talented chefs from school catering company Holroyd Howe, catering service provider BaxterStorey and venue operator Searcys, have recently graduated from the award-winning Chef Academy.
Launched by BaxterStorey in 2003, Chef Academy helps develop the skillset of chefs and apprentices, from teaching culinary talent and nutrition knowledge, to finance skills and leadership techniques. The programme has seen more than 500 students graduate and is one of many programmes run by BaxterStorey that offers training and development opportunities.
“We are lucky to be part of a thriving hospitality industry – one which the UK economy relies on,” says Alastair Storey, chairman of BaxterStorey. “Nurturing talent and celebrating successes is how we will continue to grow both the business and the industry. Our graduate chefs are ambassadors to our business, and I am proud to celebrate such a motivated and talented group of people”.
